This page explains how to claim a welcome gift as a PFA customer and a new customer at Købstædernes Forsikring. Please carefully note the conditions for the welcome gift.

Child accident cover for up to two years

Get child accident insurance at no charge for one child with standard cover, for the child’s first two years of life.

Income protection insurance for three months

Receive Income Protection Insurance cover at no charge for the first three months. Please note that your income protection insurance cover only applies once you have paid for an additional six months. The insurance has to have been in force at least nine months before your first day of unemployment. It is also a requirement that you have been working for at least 12 months.

Digital Crime cover for 1 year

Get Digital Crime cover at no charge for the first year, as an add-on to your Home Contents Insurance. It is a condition that you have purchased our Home Contents Insurance.

Digital Crime cover provides assistance if you suffer online fraud or harassment.

Conditions for the welcome gift

You are only eligible to choose a one-time welcome gift if you are a PFA customer and not already a customer at Købstædernes Forsikring, Jyske Forsikring or Djøf Forsikring. The welcome gift cannot be changed once it has been chosen.

It is also a condition that you buy one of the following insurance policies in order to choose a welcome gift:

Child accident insurance
Income protection insurance
Digital Crime cover as an add-on to your Home Contents Insurance

When your welcome gift transitions to paid cover, you must pay the stated price incl. taxes and collection fees. You can see the price in your insurance quote.

Potential risk for double insurance

If you have an adult accident insurance policy with us, your child is automatically insured for the first two years of life at no additional cost, unless the child is already covered by another accident insurance policy. When the child reaches two years of age, they must have their own child accident insurance policy.

What should you do if you want to cancel your insurance policies?

Cancellation of welcome gift before first charge
If you cancel your chosen welcome gift in connection with the first charge, there is no cancellation fee. Cover ends on the date of the first charge.

Cancellation of welcome gift after first charge
You can cancel your welcome gift without incurring any fees if you submit a written cancellation at least 1 month before the premium due date. You can also cancel your welcome gift giving the current month plus one month in notice, subject to payment of a cancellation fee. Please note, however, that the cancellation fee will be higher if you cancel within the first year.

Cancellation of one or more insurance policies
You can cancel your insurance contract, giving the current month plus one month in notice, subject to payment of a cancellation fee. Please note, however, that the cancellation fee will be higher if you cancel within the first year.
